We love the story behind the bod organic skincare product range, founded by therapeutic practitioner Brett Pattinson and his naturopath wife, Lorena Sigala. Brett was once the frontman for internationally renowned ska band The Allniters, with all the lifestyle choices that implies.

A bad case of burnout led bod Organics founder Brett to throw himself into studies in shiatsu, aromatherapy, natural skincare and naturopathy. After graduating, Brett ran a successful therapeutics centre. During years of hands-on work, he began developing a range of the purest natural skincare products... and bod Organics was born. bod for bubs came along later, with the arrival of Brett and Lorena's baby boy, nicknamed Bubbaloo. Wanting only the best for their beloved baby Brett developed the bod for bubs range of organic skincare baby products packed with all the goodness and therapeutic benefits he could cram in.

The bod organic skincare philosophy combines eastern wisdom with learnings from modern therapeutic practice. Brett's commitment to creating products free from harmful ingredients and filled with goodness remains the driving force behind bod Organics. Several products in the bod organic skincare range are now registered as certified organic, with more to follow soon. bod organic skincare products are preserved and packaged in amber or dark bottles. The darkened bottle shields the organic skincare products from damage caused by light, heat and air. This makes the organic skincare products longer-lasting, more potent and effective.

Brett still manages the occasional gig with the Allniters, for old time's sake, recently supporting UB40 on tour. But apparently early-nighters are more his style these days.
