Peppermint Sweeps the Board at Australian Publishing Awards

Yep not just once, but three times! Yesterday at the Publisher's Australia Magazine Awards in Sydney, Peppermint Magazine scooped up 3 awards - Best Sustainability in Publishing, Best Design in the 'Consumer' magazine category, and best overall Graphic Designer of the year!

The Peppermint team, led by editor and founder, Kelley Sheenan, has worked incredibly hard on Peppermint over the last 18 months and so to be recognised amongst such a high level of competition is an honour. Here's what Kelley had to say following the exciting news,

"HUGE thanks to all our amazing contributors, especially to Tess Curran, Leeyong Soo, Kate Hanson and Kate Luckins for all their hard work and input (Peppermint wouldn't be what it is without you) and to so many others who have helped along the way (including our families for their support and faith).

"A special thank you to our printers Printpoint, who have helped us produce Peppermint to be as minty green as it can be by printing on a waterless printing press, on 100% post-consumer recycled paper. The sustainability award is as much theirs as it is ours.

"And of course much love to all our fans and followers, you all rock. Sorry if I am sounding like Gwyneth at the Oscars, but it's a very exciting moment for us, and I want everyone to know that there have been so many people who have helped us get to this point and we appreciate every single one of them. I will step down from my podium now..."
